How to read the results

Cost per month shows the premium from each insurance provider for your selected coverage, term and health classification, paid monthly. Classification indicates the health tier the rate assumes; underwriting by the carrier will confirm the actual class. Physical exam indicates whether a health screening will be conducted; many newer accelerated review programs waive this for qualifying applicants. Rating by A.M. Best reflects how strong that insurance company's finances are.
